Hey CB. Do you think it may be time to schedule our first WFH meeting where we can ask for people to take leads on these areas as well as brainstorm on activity stations?

I know you are probably thinking the same thing, and I know I could email you but just wanted to see some traffic on this discussion :)

haha hi sukh. other than the wfh blurb in the most recent newsletter, i've only reached out to AHO signees and last year's WFH volunteers. i could send the "six months from now" email to communique as well, but other than that, all brainstorming is currently happening online. its never too early to start having face-to-face meetings but i thought it might be overkill with EOA and BH3 ramping up. what do you think? i can do a better job of opening the discussion to a wider audience by posting these opps on volunteermatch, idealist, and craigslist

i can never have enough meetings to attend :) i think getting promoting the 'submit-a-quote' through the others site is an awesome idea. i'm not sure how many team leads you'll find though, that may require a face-to-face meeting so that they get a sense of the kind of crazy people they'll be dealing with.

true. how do you feel about approaching it the "Kristeen Singh Way"-- assembling a team by personally talking to individuals... then the backbone is in place even before the first meeting. its effective. we can also have a face-to-face meeting first and pull a Kristeen Singh if no one shows up.
we know *you* can never have enough meetings, but you my friend, are crazy. i'm just worried (actually worried is not the right word) but i feel a lot of attention needs to go to DV monologues and BH3 right now, and with the Mexico trips and Seva happening simultaneously.....
it's a lot, no?

but i'm down, if you are. i was telling rahul that nothing scares me anymore

wow, i didn't know Kristeen (KS) had a 'way' named after her. infamous.

i like the idea of keeping the focus on DV and BH, and in the interm working the KS method. We can creatively think through how to create inroads for new people to be involved, even if they haven't been talked to personally to take on a core role.

Sukh, Christine - As per our e-mail correspondence today, below are some suggested quotes for this year's Walk (all by Louix Dor Dempriey):

Bless every thing and bless every one all the time.

Pure love is pure power.

The consciousness you are in when you create is what you create.

The joy of serving is the reward for serving.

The greatest adventure you will ever have is the journey into your own heart.

Think with your heart.

Until you make peace with yourself, you will never find peace in the world.

Thank you for considering these!

Take care,

Lisa Leslie

hi guys. i'll jump onto activity stations again... brainstorming at the moment as to new ideas, but also willing to help revamp, revitalize and recreate former stations.

Please let me know where to visit. Where is the voting taking place online for the quotes? I might have missed it?
